Care Guide

Cashmere is an investment in effortless elegance - delicate, breathable, and incredibly soft. With proper care, your favorite pieces will only get better with time. Here’s how to maintain their beauty:

Pilling – A Natural Process

Pilling is a normal occurrence with cashmere and not a sign of poor quality. It happens when loose fibers surface due to friction. Over time, as the shorter fibers shed, your garment will become even softer.

Lay the garment flat and gently comb in the direction of the fibers using a cashmere comb. Use your hands to remove any remaining pills.

Washing – Less is More

Cashmere’s natural breathability means you don’t need to wash it after every wear. Instead, air it out to refresh.

  • Machine Wash (with precautions): Use the wool or delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C, with the lowest spin setting.
  • Hand Wash: Soak in cold water with a mild detergent formulated for cashmere. Avoid wringing or stretching.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals—never use bleach or fabric softener, as they can weaken the fibers.

Ironing & Steaming – Smooth & Flawless

For the best results, steam your cashmere to remove wrinkles without compromising the fibers.

Use a steamer to gently relax creases. If ironing, select the lowest heat setting and place a cloth between the garment and the iron to prevent heat damage.

Storage – Preserve Its Perfection

Proper storage helps extend the life of your cashmere and protects it from unwanted damage.

  • Always fold your garments rather than hanging them.
  • Store them in the protective bag (included in your order) they came in.
  • To deter moths, place a cedar wood ball in your storage area.

By following these simple steps, your cashmere will stay luxuriously soft, beautifully shaped, and long-lasting season after season.
